Bellarmine Wellness
Wellness is much more than physical health, exercise or nutrition. It is the full integration of states of physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. Our wellness model aligns with the values of Bellarmine University and promotes a holistic approach to student well-being by integrating the Mind, Body and Spirit.
What we do
Educational Outreach, Workshops and Trainings
- Outreach programs are designed to educate students on attitudes, behaviors, skills, and knowledge about a variety of health and wellness topics. All programs include measurable student learning outcomes and incorporate our Mind, Body, and Spirit wellness model while integrating a resilience-based approach that focuses on holistic student well-being.
- Programs are offered through various departments on campus including the Counseling Center, Health Services, Campus Recreation, and other Student Affairs units. Presenters may include professional staff members, student interns, or trained student Peer Wellness Educators, depending on the type of program and intended audience.
Be sure to check out our on-going initiatives, programs and presentation topics to learn how everything we do relates back to our Wellness Model (pdf). This model is comprised of 8 wellness dimensions and is integral in planning our initiatives.
