Program Overview
The Post-Master’s Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) Certificate is designed for registered nurses who already hold a Master of Science in Nursing in another area of concentration and want to expand their expertise in acute care practice. The program prepares advanced practice nurses to provide specialized care for adult and geriatric patients experiencing acute, critical, and complex chronic health conditions in a variety of healthcare settings.
The certificate program focuses on advanced clinical decision-making, diagnostic interpretation, and evidence-based treatment of complex health conditions.
