Program Overview
Bellarmine’s Business Administration program prepares students for careers in finance, marketing, management, entrepreneurship, consulting, nonprofits, and more.
Students complete foundational coursework in accounting, economics, finance, marketing, management, information technology, and business law. As you progress into upper-level courses, you will apply what you learn through experiential projects, client-based assignments, and collaborative problem-solving.
Before graduation, students will complete two capstone experiences including a client-based strategic project for a real startup or nonprofit, and complete at least one required internship. Bellarmine Business Administration graduates leave with practical experience, professional confidence, and a portfolio of applied work.

Study Abroad Opportunities
Business students have access to study abroad programs in more than 50 countries. A popular option is a three-week immersion experience in Tuscany, which includes site visits to Central Austria at the University of Kufstein. Students earn up to six credit hours, and no prior language experience is required.
Students who continue into Bellarmine’s MBA program may also participate in a study abroad experience in France.

Featured Faculty
Alisha Harper is an Associate Professor and serves as chair of the Department of Business
Administration. She received her B.A. from Shepherd University, her J.D. from the
University of Louisville, and an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University. Prior
to joining Bellarmine, she worked for eight years as a Senior Attorney for the IRS
Office of Chief Counsel and as a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the
U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Dr. Patricia Carver is an Instructor of Business Administration in the Rubel School
of Business. She earned a B.S. in Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Louisville,
an MBA from Bellarmine, and a doctorate in Leadership in Higher Education. She is
a CPA and has extensive professional experience in accounting, finance, management,
strategic planning, and consulting.
