I am a first-year student because I can answer “yes” to at least one of the following statements:

  • I plan to enter Bellarmine in the summer or fall after graduating from high school.
  • I have never attended college since leaving high school, regardless of my age or whether I ever graduated.

Note: Taking courses during the summer term immediately following high school graduation does not make you a transfer student.

Bellarmine Application Common Application

I am a graduate student because I can answer “yes” to at least one of the following statements:

  • I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s (or master’s) degree and will finish before I intend to enroll at Bellarmine.
  • I have already earned a bachelor’s (or master’s) degree.

I am a transfer student because I can answer “yes” to all of the following statements:

  • I wish to enter Bellarmine to earn my first bachelor’s degree.
  • I am no longer attending high school, regardless of how old I am or whether I ever graduated.
  • I have completed, plan to complete, or will have completed any coursework at a regionally accredited college or university after leaving high school and before enrolling at Bellarmine (excluding the summer term immediately following high school).

Bellarmine Application Common Application

I am a non-degree student because I can answer “yes” to at least one of the following statements:

  • I wish to enroll in prerequisite coursework at Bellarmine.
  • I wish to enroll in coursework at Bellarmine without the goal of receiving credit hours toward a degree.
  • I am currently enrolled in a program of study at another post-secondary institution, but I want to complete credits at Bellarmine to transfer back to my current institution

I am a returning student because I can answer “yes” to the following statement:

  • I have previously been admitted and enrolled at Bellarmine, but did not complete the degree I had intended to pursue and now wish to return/enroll again.

  • Visit the VA website and fill out the application. The VA will process your application in 2 to 10 weeks and send you a Certificate of Eligibility (COE).
  • Submit Bellarmine Application. Apply using the application that most closely aligns with your current educational status. You do not have to wait for your VA application before you can apply to Bellarmine.
  • Request Financial Aid if needed.

International applicants: these designations apply regardless of citizenship.
